Wired Campus: Law Reviews Create Web Magazine Offering Condensed Articles

The Chronicle of Higher Education's Wired Campus blog writes about the launch of a new Web magazine, The Legal Workshop, that is meant to help make law reviews more accessible to the general population. Originally devised by former Stanford Law Review Chief Editor Joseph Edelheit Ross '07, The Legal Workshop is a consortium of seven leading law reviews:
The idea is to open up the content of law reviews to a wider audience and to make legal debates influential and relevant beyond academic cloisters. “As a profession,” Michael Montano, an editor of the Stanford Law Review, told the Web site Legal Blog Watch, “we owe it to the public to produce work that is relevant to society as a whole.”
