The Office of Communications & Public Relations is comprised of the web team, the media relations team, and the publications team at the Law School. Stanford Law School offers more than just classroom learning. We have something very disctinctinve to the Law School - our programs and centers. This video captures just a few of our many programs and centers which work on a wide range of research topics (as you will hear about). They also connect our students and faculty to the outside world where they to get to work on practicle problems and solutions. Our programs and centers are also multi-disciplinary and work with other departments and schools on campus such as the computer science department and the GSB, to name a few.
The Mills Legal Clinic provides in-depth, hands-on learning opportunities for SLS students while it also provides valuable pro bono legal representation to communities both locally and globally. In addition to incubating tomorrow's public service, public interest, and pro bono lawyers, our clinics are a training ground for students whatever their legal career aspirations--whether to join a large firm, become entrepreneurs or scholars, make policy, or engage in public service. It is a vital part of our mission to prepare every student for the real-world challenges, responsibilities and rewards of a career in law. Check out their blog here!
The office of External Relations consists of development and alumni relations. Learn how this team works to bring in funding to create and enrich the student life here, and how they connect and build relationships with our alumni to contribute to the SLS community.
The Facilities team services faculty, staff and students daily by managing the maintenance of the Law School campus and all contract service providers, daily activities of event planning, room reservations, mail and shipping services, purchasing, telephone/voicemail services and home DSL, general work requests for assistance, safety and security, as well as space planning and construction management.
The IT group is fully committed to supporting the needs of the Law School community through an assortment of services offered, including Audio/Visual support, systems integration, and help desk support.
