Our international team strives to accurately translate the guiding cases by taking into account Chinese legal concepts, Chinese legal culture, and other considerations. Our team therefore does not use any legal term widely used in the West unless we are certain that such a term carries the same meaning in China. Although we are very pleased with the versions posted on the CGCP website, we welcome suggestions that could help us improve. To comment on the China Guiding Cases Project (CGCP) as a whole or to submit general feedback on our translation work and/or other products, please use the form provided below.  As always, when submitting comments, please adhere to the CGCP’s Commentary Policy.

Commentary Policy

The China Guiding Cases Project (CGCP) thrives on its volunteers and user community and actively encourages commenting on the guiding cases and other products posted on our website.  The CGCP strives to maintain a respectful, engaging and informative conversation that promotes a receptive, transparent and civil atmosphere for comments and users.  Critical, in-depth and intelligent discussions and debates are encouraged and everyone is welcome and encouraged to voice their opinion regardless of identity, politics, ideology, religion or agreement with other community members, CGCP advisors or contributors as long as those opinions are respectful and constructively add to the conversation. However, the CGCP does not tolerate direct or indirect attacks, name-calling or insults, nor does it tolerate intentional attempts to bait others into an emotional response.  These types of comments will be removed from the community where warranted.  Individuals who consistently or intentionally post these types of comments will be warned and, if necessary, excluded from the community.
