Irene Calboli is a Professor of Law at Marquette University Law School and a Visiting Professor at the Faculty of Law of the National University of Singapore. She started her academic career at the University of Bologna, and held visiting teaching or research positions at DePaul University College of Law, the University of California Berkeley, the King's College London, and the Max-Planck-Institute for Intellectual Property and Competition Law. Dr. Calboli's current research interests focus on intellectual property and international trade, secondary liability in intellectual property law, and the protection of geographical indications of origin. Dr. Calboli is, inter alia, a member of the International Association for the Advancement of Teaching and Research in Intellectual Property (ATRIP), the Association Littéraire et Artistique Internationale (ALAI), the Academic Committee of the International Trademark Association (INTA), and the Executive Committee of the Section on Law and Arts of the Association of American Law Schools. Dr. Calboli has been a TTLF Fellow since September 2013.
