Richard Weiner is an international biofuels lawyer at Fredrikson & Byron in Minneapolis, USA, where he is a Vice President, Chair of the Firm's International Department and Chair of the Firm's Biofuels Practice Group. Rich assists clients with biofuels projects in the United States and overseas. His clients have relied on his expertise to successfully complete biofuels projects in over fifteen countries. Rich focuses specifically on contract matters, joint ventures, partnerships, strategic alliances, mergers and acquisitions, technology, and dispute resolution in the biofuels industry. Prior to joining Fredrikson & Byron, Rich practiced at an Italian law firm in New York and an American law firm in Brussels. He holds a Bachelor's Degree in Linguistics from Cornell University, a Master's Degree in Romance Linguistics from the University of Michigan and a Law Degree from the University of Virginia. He has conducted doctoral research at the Universite de Neuchatel in Switzerland. He has been a TTLF Fellow since February 2013.
