Lecturer in Law
Tim Hallahan is the Director of the Trial Skills Program at Stanford Law School, a Judicial Education Attorney for California’s Administrative Office for the Courts, a national Continuing Legal Education speaker, and an independent consultant on lawyering skills training with the Hecht Training Group.
He graduated from Harvard Law School in 1976. From 1976 to 1986 he was a practicing civil and criminal trial attorney. He was then the Lead Skills Instructor for the California Continuing Education for the Bar for eight years. He has been presenting litigation skills courses for law schools, law firms, corporate legal departments, government agencies, courts, and continuing legal education groups around the country since 1981.
As founder and director of the Interactive Video programs at Harvard and Stanford Law Schools and the Practising Law Institute, he has produced over 40 interactive video, CD-ROM, and Internet-based programs on various legal topics.
