As an attorney, how do you counsel clients through these complex issues, combining law, technology and business judgments? This course explores advanced topics in copyright and trademark as they apply to cutting-edge business models. Topics include DMCA safe harbors, trademarks and keyword advertising, digital music licensing, and other cutting edge issues in copyright and trademark. The focus is on applying these legal regimes to existing business models in order to evaluate the risks taken and strategies employed by today's technology leaders.
