The Food and Drug Administration regulates a very large portion of the American economy with a special role in health care. This class will examine the FDA's regulatory authority over drugs, biologics, medical devices, and dietary supplements as well as provide some background on the nature of the pharmaceutical, biotech, medical device, and nutritional supplement industries.
