James Cavallaro, Clinical Professor of Law and Executive Director of the Harvard Law School (HLS) Human Rights Program; Raquel Dodge, Global Advocacy Fellow and Visiting Researcher at HLS; Andressa Caldas, Legal Director of Justiça Global; and Lívia Franca, researcher and Masters candidate at Harvard Law School, hosted an advisory group meeting to discuss ongoing research on organized crime, police violence, and the prison system in São Paulo, Brazil. The meeting, which took place at the Brazil Office of Harvard's David Rockefeller Center for Latin American Studies, brought together leaders from legal, academic, journalist, and business backgrounds.
