Two weeks before the U.S. Supreme Court hears oral arguments on the constitutionality of the Affordable Care Act, The California Endowment and many distinguished law schools are bringing together a bipartisan mix of renowned legal minds and policy experts to hear and argue the case that will decide the health status of millions.
This one-of-a-kind moot court event features Stanford Law School’s Kathleen Sullivan, Stanley Morrison Professor of Law and Former Dean, as Petitioner, and Professor Daniel Kessler as one of the judges on the nine-member panel that will hear the moot court argument. Respondent’s counsel will be Theodore J. Boutros, Jr. of Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher, and other judges on the panel will include the Hon. Gray Davis (former Governor of the State of California), the Hon. Carlos R. Moreno (former Associate Justice of the California Supreme Court), and several other eminent law school deans, professors, and practitioners all of whom are listed on the event flyer (in "Related Media").
