Professor Mark Lemley was listed by Reuters as a potential Supreme Court nominee if Mitt Romney were to win the presidency. The ABA Journal's Debra Cassesns Weiss reported on the story:

Mitt Romney’s campaign isn’t commenting on possible U.S. Supreme Court nominees if he wins the presidency, but that hasn’t stopped others from speculating.

Other appeals judges mentioned are Steven Colloton, Neil Gorsuch and Jeffrey Sutton. Also on the Reuters list are lawyer Miguel Estrada, former Justice Department official Viet Dinh, Boeing general counsel Michael Luttig and Stanford Law School professor Michael McConnell.
