Stanford Graduate School of Business Library

The Business Library exists primarily to serve the needs of the current faculty, staff and students of the Stanford Graduate School of Business. It is also open to current members of the Stanford community for their business research needs and to members of the public.  The website provides research guides and links to company information, including corporate overviews, executives, financials, analyst reports, and market reports.

U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission, SEC Filings & Forms (EDGAR)

Electronic filings made to the Securities and Exchange Commission from 1994-present. Filings include annual (10K) and quarterly (10Q) reports, annual reports to shareholders, and other filings that provide a comprehensive overview of a company’s financial condition and business practices. Users may search by company name, the SEC’s CIK (Central Index Key), File number, and State or SIC (Standard Industrial Classification code).

LexisNexis Academic (SLS Database)

Business filings, information & industry analysis.  For off-campus access:

Access to comprehensive U.S. law and secondary sources, business information, and both current & historical news coverage.  Access is restricted to SLS students, faculty, and staff with accounts.

EBSCOHost’s Business Source Complete & Econ Lit (SLS Database)

Provides full-text and abstracts of articles from management journals, major newspapers, business magazines, and trade journals.  From, select “EBSCOhost.”

Thomson One Banker (GSB Database)

Provides access that includes five years of financial transactions in new issues, M&A, and loans.  Allows searching across multiple electronic financial databases to access key financials, ratios, earning estimates, market data and source documents for over 65,000 active and inactive global companies. Content derived from Thomson Financial sources, including SDC Platinum, Edgar filings, I/B/E/S and Worldscope. Access online via IE Browser only

OneSource North American Business Browser

A one‐stop shop for detailed information on public and private companies, including corporate overviews, news, financial information, analyst reports, executive bios, and full‐text SEC filings, along with industry market reports and financial benchmarking for a range of industries.
